The Sheik Zayed Library was designed as a 'Garden of Knowledge' so that all the functional
spaces overlooked richly landscaped internal courtyards. The four major gardens are based
on fire, water, air and earth and are air conditiond at the hottest time of the year.
The Library also contains a 1,500 seat theatre, an IMAX cinema, children's reading areas, exhibitional halls and a Mosque in its own landscaped garden. |
